Astana. May 7th KazTAG – Kazakhstan and China are preparing to sign an agreement on the exchange of information about their citizens, the agency reports.
“To approve the attached draft agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the exchange of information regarding citizens of the states of the Parties,” the order of the resolution says.
Recall that the authorities of Kazakhstan are considering introducing a visa-free regime between the countries. The signing is expected in May during a visit to China by Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu.
Countries want to sign an agreement on the exchange of information in the following areas:
The number of visa-free entries and exits, as well as visas issued to citizens of states.
Providing information about citizens of the state of one Party, accepted or restored in the citizenship of the state of the other Party.
Interchange of information about citizens of the states of the Parties who changed their citizenship before the entry into force of this Agreement to protect the interests of citizens of the states of both Parties.
This applies to names, surnames, patronymics, information about gender, date of birth, places of birth, citizenship, series, number, date of issue, authority that issued the relevant document, nationality, photographs of citizens of Kazakhstan and China.
It is indicated that the agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. Each country may terminate it by sending a written notice to the other party.
