Russia has reportedly lost a staggering amount of troops over the past 24 hours along with dozens of tanks and armoured vehicles as bloody fighting takes its toll on Vladimir Putin’s men. Russia lost a staggering 1,740 troops in a single day, the highest tally of casualties for Moscow since the start of the invasion in 2022, according to Ukraine. Hong Kong’s government will be able to proceed with making a protest song illegal under the city’s national security laws after winning a court challenge. The High Court had last year rejected the government’s request for Glory to Hong Kong to be banned, saying it would have “chilling effects” on free speech. On Wednesday, the Department of the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC, imposed a fourth round of sanctions on Hamas, including three names from Turkey, amid the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. “Today’s action targets key officials who perpetuate Hamas’s violent agenda by representing the group’s interests abroad and managing its finances. OFAC closely coordinated with the United Kingdom to concurrently designate several key Hamas officials,” the official press release wrote. Russia said Sunday it had downed Ukrainian drones over five regions, including Moscow, as well as two Ukrainian missiles over the Azov Sea, a day after a large-scale Russian drone attack on Kyiv. KYIV — Russia bombed the Odesa region on Sunday, damaging an art museum and warehouses, a day after Ukrainian forces struck a Russian missile carrier at a Kerch shipyard. A Russian Kalibr missile carrier was destroyed in the Ukrainian attack on Saturday, Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Forces, said in a statement Sunday.
