AKIPRESS.COM – Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Ruslan Zhaksylykov held a number of meetings in Ankara (Turkey) and visited military facilities, institutions and enterprises of the military-industrial comple, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
Negotiations between Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov and Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler took place.
The Defense Ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
General Zhaksylykov also met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Gendarmerie of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Army General Arif Cetin, and the head of the Turkish Defense Industry Directorate, Haluk Gergün.
The Kazakh delegation also visited the united company Turkish Aerospace Industries – TUSAŞ Aerospace Industries, which produces aviation equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.
“As a result of the meeting, a military cooperation plan between Turkey and Kazakhstan for 2024 was signed… Currently, the Defense Ministries of the two countries have established interaction in the field of military science, education, combat training, and military-technical cooperation,” the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan reported.
