The Digital Bridge 2023 international technology forum will take place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on October 12-13. The event will focus on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the modern world. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to attend the forum, which has been held since 2018. Over 20,000 participants, including 300 IT companies, 100 investors and business angels, 250 speakers, and 100 startups from 15 countries, are expected to attend.
The forum is dedicated to finding a balance between technology and human resources and aims to create a future where AI serves humanity. Bagdat Mussin, Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, shared that Kazakhstan has created favorable conditions for scientists and young talents. Many AI products created by Kazakh citizens have already gained global attention.
The two-day program of the forum includes various events, such as a plenary session with President Tokayev, one-to-one meetings with him, over 30 panel sessions with international speakers, and events from Google for Startups. The forum will also feature the Digital Bridge Awards, which honor excellence in digitalization, and the Startup Alley, where 100 Kazakh and foreign technology startups will showcase their innovative solutions.
Furthermore, the forum will host the Astana Hub Battle, a technological marathon to determine the top IT startup. This year, the prize fund has increased to $75,000. The winners will be recognized in three categories: Best Social Impact, Most Innovative, and Exponential Growth. The jury will include the country’s largest investors, who may also offer additional proposals to interesting projects.
Applications for the Astana Hub Battle can be submitted until September 20 on the digitalbridge.kz website.
